We want to put patients at the heart of the NHS. By working as a partnership with local doctors, nurses and the CCG, you can have direct input into the healthcare that you and other Luton residents receive.

The Luton Health and Social Care Engagement Group (LHSCEG) is made up of local people who use health and social care services in Luton, as well as patient representatives from Luton GP practices. Many local practices have a Patient Participation Group, and each practice is entitled to send representatives. LHSCEG replaces the Patient Reference Group (PRG) in order to widen representation and reflect the integrated partnership approach to Health and Social Care in Luton.

To find out more about the group, or give feedback please contact anona.hoyle@nhs.net.

If you would like to get involved, contact your GP surgery and ask if they have a patient participation group that you could join, or talk to them about being their representative at the Luton Health and Social Care Engagement Group.

The terms of reference for the Luton Health and Social Care Engagement Group (LHSCEG) are can be found below

The meeting scheduled for 31 March 2020 has been cancelled due to increased pressure on the CCG and other health services caused by the Coronavirus outbreak.  Details of future meetings will be published in due course.
